Safety

Safety is our main concern, making sure everyone’s health and well-being is at the forefront of our attention. Meeting industry standards, all of our Ski guides are trained and members of the Association of Canadian Mountain Guides (ACMG). The ACMG is the governing body setting the standards and best practices for professional guides. For more information about the ACMG, checkout the website www.acmg.ca

Before each trip, every guest undergoes a pre-trip training by our team to ensure mandatory avalanche rescue skills are met. This includes how to operate rescue gear and knowledge of current snow conditions. As a Flow GS policy, every guest will be trained to an industry standard before trips commence.

When our clients are in the field with our guide, we encourage them to ask questions about the mountains, conditions, and where we are traveling. We believe by sharing and educating our clients while out in the field we can strengthen everyone's knowledge.  We have a "speak up" policy if you want more information about the how and why of the trip and route.  We strive to provide a have a safe fun trip that keeps everyone in their comfort zone.
